#13 Design

There are designs and then there are designs...  I find that the shapes and forms that are found in this image can be defined as designs and certainly whoever created this building, designed  it to look as it does.  Did I mention that I am a sucker for architectural detail?  Stay tuned as there may be even more designs - of this same building, The National Gallery in Ottawa, Canada - that I want to include in this category...


Just couldn't resist.  Here's another one - or two, or three..

      Thanks so much, Chesney - it's a favourite of mine too. Nice to hear positive feedback on it as one judge has said there should be a figure in the shot. And I purposely waited until there were no people in it!

    I too love the top shot especially, the line and shadow are so striking. I would have waited too for no one in the shot. The triple is cool too, between you and Julie I love seeing Ottawa

    oh my, what great shots, my favourite things aside from the photos are the words Ottawa, Canada...misplaced canadian that I am...I look forward to more shots.. the first one is a rather fine shot

    Thank you all - your comments are certainly appreciated! Nice to know there are other 'design' and architectural detail people out there. I guess I should have stopped with the top image as that seems to be the most popular but do like the others as well and didn't know if I'd get a chance to share them here in another theme.
